Brief info

Michael was born in Horseheads NY, and moved to Wilmington in 2014 after he graduated College with Math/Physics Degrees. He spent a few years working in the Events/Hospitality industry before starting his Flight Training in 2019 at the Cape Fear Jetport SUT. Half way through his training he transitioned to flying out of ILM to finish his Commercial/CFI/CFII. When he isn’t flying you can find him spending time outdoors or traveling!

DON’T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT

I have had a very positive experience with Cape Fear Coastal Aviation. This is a top-notch flight school. The lessons are very well organized and I was able to work at a pace that best fit with my school schedule and other commitments. All of the staff at CFCA are helpful, friendly, and supportive. My instructors were very knowledgeable and committed to my success and made sure that I was prepared for each milestone on my path to private pilot. The aircraft were very well equipped and maintained. I would fully recommend Cape Fear Coastal Aviation to anyone looking to learn to fly.

CFCA as a whole was the biggest support system and confidence booster you could ask for as a student pilot.
