CFI, CFII
Brief info
Jacob is originally from Connecticut but moved throughout the country as a child. Growing up, Jacob was introduced to aviation through his father, who has worked with air ambulance helicopters both as a flight respiratory therapist and as a transportation program manager. After graduating high school, Jacob was unsure of what career path he wanted to pursue. That changed when a family friend, who flies for American Airlines, gifted him a discovery flight. He was hooked and knew he wanted to become a pilot. Jacob completed his private pilot certificate and instrument rating in Charlotte before moving to Wilmington. He has completed his commercial pilot certificate, CFI, and CFII here at CFCA. Recently, Jacob graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he majored in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. When he isn’t flying, Jacob enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and spending time with friends. Jacob looks forward to sharing his love of aviation with his students while focusing on safety and excellence.
