Brief info
Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Griffin grew up in a small town just outside the city. His early years were filled with competitive swimming, time spent with family, and working on classic cars with his dad. Griffin also stayed active through Boy Scouts and spent his summers working alongside his older brother at a local pool.
After high school, Griffin discovered his passion for aviation and enrolled at Guilford Technical Community College, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Aviation Management while beginning his flight training. He’s currently continuing his education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, working toward a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics.
Griffin completed his flight training at a Part 141 institution, earning his Commercial, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Instrument Instructor (CFII), Multi-Engine, and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) ratings.
Today, Griffin is proud to be a Flight Instructor at Cape Fear Coastal Aviation in Wilmington, North Carolina. Griffin’s always had a love for the coast, and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to teach and fly in such a beautiful, beachside environment.
