Owner & CEO

Brief info

Ben is originally from New York, where after high school he worked as an EMT for almost three years. This experience solidified his desire to pursue a career in public service, specifically in the field of law enforcement. Ben moved to North Carolina in 2008 to go to the police academy. After graduating, he served for 10 years in law enforcement, including serving as a field training officer and a general instructor training new and current law enforcement officers. Ben served in many roles throughout his career, but most rewarding for him was having the opportunity to run the Police Explorers program, which was a part of the Boy Scouts of America, encouraging youth to pursue a career in law enforcement. Ben also helped to create the Police Department's first Special Response Team and served as a member for almost seven years as an Operator. These opportunities all helped grow Ben’s love for teaching.

In addition to law enforcement and teaching, Ben has always had a passion for technology. So, in 2014—during his time off—he started a company that brought together new Twitch and YouTube streamers with more seasoned streamers to build mentoring relationships, ultimately creating a huge community consisting of thousands of people to share knowledge and learn from one another. But in 2018, as the youngest patrol Sergeant in the history of his Police Department, Ben left law enforcement to spend more time with his growing family and continue working on his business. Unfortunately, as with many small businesses, the response to COVID caused Ben to have to close his business at the end of 2020.

That’s when Ben and his family relocated to Wilmington. This move ultimately led him to find his true passion—aviation. Over the last two years, Ben has been learning all the ins and outs of the aviation world, including its business and community. Ben is currently working on his PPL and has bought a 2018 Cirrus SR22. Ben hopes to bring his knowledge and experience to aviation and help create a state-of-the-art place to help train the next generation of pilots.
